  • CARACAS: THE FIRST ANTI-FASCIST INTERNATIONAL HAS ARRIVED – On September 11 and 12, 2024, the “Anti-Fascist International” was founded in Caracas with the participation of thousands of progressive movements from 97 countries around the world. This International was created with the aim of confronting the reactionary wave that is sweeping the world. Not only the countries of the so-called “Axis of Evil” (as the last NATO summit described Russia, China and Iran, but also Venezuela, as well as a large number of countries on the planet) are in the crosshairs of imperialism.
  • TO THE REVERSE OF MUSK AND TRUMP’S POST-DEMOCRACIES, NICOLAS MADURO SHORES UP DEMOCRACY IN VENEZUELA –  – No matter how the Western media’s drones bombard us with images of “dictatorship-in-Venezuela”, Nicolas Maduro, re-elected last July against the extreme right, is to be sworn-in on 10 January 2025 (1). Let’s talk of Venezuelan originality. If you project the classic political games onto it, you cannot understand the Bolivarian dynamic that links anti-imperialist resistance and democratic creativity.
  • WORKERS’ INTERNATIONALISM GROWS ON THE ANTI-COLONIAL TENACITY OF PALESTINE – The Labour government led by Keir Starmer replaced the Sunak government in July 2024. Back in 2023, Starmer had won the Labour leadership’s race by mendaciously pretending to endorse Corbyn’s essential points of programme. Among those points, he had pledged to defend Human Rights and Migrants’ Rights.
  • VICTORY OF NICOLAS MADURO AGAINST THE EXTREME RIGHT AND THE INTERNATIONAL MEDIA– The Posadists Today reproduce here the article of Thierry Deronne to salute the new victory of Nicolas Maduro and the continuing Bolivarian Revolution. This gives strength and courage to the masses of Argentina, Brazil, Latin America, as well as those of the world, the Palestinians in particular, who feel the conditions exist to thwart and defeat the deadly intentions of world colonialism, imperialism and Nato.
  • UK ELECTIONS 2024: A PARTING OF THE WAYS INSIDE LABOURISM, NEVER MIND THE ELECTORAL SUCCESS – In the 4 July legislative election, the Conservative government suffered a crushing electoral defeat, and Rishi Sunak resigned. The Labour Party led by Keir Starmer won 411 (or 412) parliamentary seats out of 650, but did so with 3 million fewer votes than Jeremy Corbyn in 2017!
  • ARGENTINA’s MILEI AND THE REORGANIZATION OF THE PERONIST OPPOSITION – The president of the republic, Javier Milei, has said publicly the most concerning thing: “I would like to put the last nail in the coffin of Kirchnerism, with Cristina Kirchner inside.” She replied via Channel X: “So, now you want to kill me too? Even if they kill me and there are no ashes left of me, your government is a failure; and you, as president, are a disgrace.”
  • THE 16TH BRICS CONFERENCE IN RUSSIA – The Conference took place in Kazan 22-24 October 2024. Founded in 2009, BRICS is composed of five countries: Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. It has just been enlarged to include Iran, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Ethiopia and Saudi Arabia. On this particular occasion, Turkey, Cuba and Bolivia made formal applications to join.
  • A NEW GOVERNMENT IN FRANCE, YET MORE RIGHTWING THAN BEFORE – In the legislative elections of 7 July 2024, the left-wing components of the New Popular Front (NFP) got the most votes. Following this, political life became suspended for two months, while the so-called ‘resigned’ ministers continued more or less in their roles.
