UK ELECTIONS 2024: A PARTING OF THE WAYS INSIDE LABOURISM, NEVER MIND THE ELECTORAL SUCCESS â€“ In the 4 July legislative election, the Conservative government suffered a crushing electoral defeat, and Rishi Sunak resigned. The Labour Party led by Keir Starmer won 411 (or 412) parliamentary seats out of 650, but did so with 3 million fewer votes than Jeremy Corbyn in 2017!
